Kurume Okiage, with 200 years history since the Edo period,  this exhibition will display the traditional Japanese craft Okiage Hina dolls which as a seasonal traditional to celebrate Hina Matsuri.

Kurume Okiage is made by colorful wrapping cotton fabric and overlap each other to creative a three-dimendional art craft work. It is a special craft designated by the Governor of Fukuoka Prefecture.

Please come and enjoy the “Hina Matsuri” that is unique to Kurume.
