ACCESS GUIDE

Fukuoka City is located in northern Kyushu, an island in the southwest of Japan. Given its geographic and historical proximity to the Korean Peninsula and the Asian continent, it is investing its efforts in pursuing various types of exchanges with other Asian countries. Fukuoka is an easily accessible city, lying just an hour and 10 minutes from Seoul, and an hour and a half from Tokyo by plane. As a "Gateway to Asia," Fukuoka boasts a number of air routes to major cities throughout the Asia-Pacific region in addition to domestic metropolises.
