Let's start from here! The JR Kyudai-gakkentoshi Station has opened in 2005. Recent years see the area developing as one of the focal locations in Nishi Ward such as Meinohama area.

Hachidai Ryuo Shrine
Facing to Imazu Bay, this shrine is originated from a Japanese Buddhist priest Eisai who was hit by a storm on his way back home from China and narrowly escaped death by the help of Hachidai Ryuo (Eight Great Dragon Kings).

Mt. Bishamon Observatory Deck
One of the most scenic spots in the area with a panorama view of Imazu Bay and Hakata Bay.
The observatory deck at 177 meter elevation shows you the beautiful landscape including Nagahama Beach.

Imazu Genkoborui Bulwalk Ruins
This Bulwark was built by the Kamakura Shogunate government for preparation against invasions of Mongolian army. It was originally 20 kilometers long, stretching from Imazu to Kashii, facing Hakata Bay.
