Hikari-no-machi HAKATA 2019 [Plaza in front of JR Hakata Station] Illumination of around 800 thousand light bulbs

Magnificent illumination of 800 thousand light bulbs. The symbol tree has become new this year.
This year again, at the plaza in front of JR Hakata Station, the magnificent illumination “Hikari-no-machi HAKATA” will be held as 800 thousand light bulbs will be lit up.

The winter time illumination in Canal City Hakata is increasingly attractive this year. Various spots along the 180-meter canal become attractive photo spots.

“Bayside Illumination – Port of Light” jazzing up the winter-time bay area will be held!
The bayside area will become more and more brilliant with lots of creations by lights reflected on the surface of the water, such as lit up palm trees, deck fence illumination, and so forth.

Let’s go to Tenjin Xmas 2019 [The streets of Tenjin become Christmas Magic] Illumination Performance of train, music and sounds [Light Magic Show]

The Christmas season when Tenjin is illuminated in champagne gold has arrived!
This year’s theme is “Light Magic Tenjin Christmas” where roadside trees and other various places will be illuminated to color the streets of Tenjin.

At Kego Park is the very popular “TENJIN HIKARI SQUARE”, at the open space to the south of Fukuoka City Hall is “TENJIN Christmas Market”, etc.

The streets of Tenjin will be dyed in the Christmas mood all at once.

teamLab: Light Festival in Fukuoka Castle Ruins 2019 – 2020 [Maizuru Park / Fukuoka Castle Ruins]

The night-time Maizuru Park and Fukuoka Castle Ruins that span about 20,000 square meters will be transformed into a digital art space of light!

In this exhibition, a total of 7 including new 4 works will be exhibited, such as the black three-legged crow, Yatagarasu flying around the stone walls of the ruins of Fukuoka Castle Tower portrayed by lights; Crows are Chased and the Chasing Crows are Destined to be Chased as well in the Stone Wall – Fukuoka Castle Tower Ruins and “Sketch Kuroda Kanbei”, drawings of the founders of Fukuoka Domain who laid the foundation of Fukuoka.

Ohori Park Winter Illumination [Ohori Park] 2019 – 2020

One of Japan’s prominent water landscape parks, Ohori Park attracts widespread popularity as a place where people can relax.

Winter Illumination started on December 1, 2019 (Sun), as the triangle-shaped planting strip at the main entrance and the area around Kangetsu Bridge and Ukimi Pavilion of the inner island are lit up.

Enjoy the reflection of LED lights wavering gently on the water surface of the downtown oasis, Ohori Park.

Momochi☆Blue Light Illumination 2019 [Fukuoka Tower] New Christmas Illumination at Fukuoka Tower!

New Christmas illumination will be lit up at Fukuoka Tower! Trees of the surrounding areas will also be dyed in magical blue color!
At Fukuoka Tower, a new Christmas illumination will be lit up from November 15th 2019 (Fri). Illumination of the wrappings covering the tower in snow pattern will make it look like a Christmas present.

Surrounding trees will also be lit up in blue, and the whole Momochi beach will be dyed in the Christmas mood.

Uminaka Xmas Candle Night 2019 [Uminonakamichi Seaside Park] Light art of 10,000 candles

This year, “Uminaka Xmas Candle Night” will mark its 13th year.
The venue is decorated with heart-warming candle lights which is different from illuminations in the city.

The collaboration of candle art and fireworks is a superb view.
