【Momochidori Tea Party ~mindfulness~】

Part 1: < Zen×Tea >
The origin of the tea ceremony came from the way of zen buddhism. In this tea ceremony, you can experience ancient zen style tea ceremony and zen sitting meditation. Please open your sense and path toward mindfulness.

Part 2: < Parent & child×Tea >
Let’s make a cup of macha green tea through parent-child communication! You can experience tea making in the ancient zen style with your all senses.

Part 3: < Japanese Sake×Tea >
At the traditional and formal tea ceremony, Kaiseki cuisine and sake liquor are served at first, and then Wagashi (Japanese sweets) and matcha green tea are served at the end of course. This course is designed only to enjoy a cup of delicious tea. In this event, you will experience the part called “Chidori-sakazuki” in the tea ceremony. The host and guests communicate with drinking Japanese sake and picking side dishes. After that you will experience tea ceremony in relaxing atmosphere. It will be an impressive and unforgettable moment.

Lecturer : Mr.Diriku Amae(Tea practitioner/ sponsor of “Totousha”)
Mr.Dairiku Amae was born in 1988. Born abroad, a Japanese nurtured abroad. After experiencing living such as Korea, Russia, Syria, Ukraine, studying architecture in Kyoto. He organizes “Totousha” in a Japanese house where three tea lovers live, and propose “Living with tea”. He is fully enjoying his life to make use of Japanese houses while taking care of his own knowledge of architecture. He enjoys living to keep Japanese house while taking care of his own knowledge of architecture and maintain by himself.

Lecturer: Ms. Eriko Mikubo
Ms. Eriko Mikubo was born in Sakai, Osaka. She began her way of tea from childhood. The most attractive thing in her tea is to enjoy “once-in-a-lifetime encounter” beyond the age, gender, nationality. She is absorbed in tea ceremonies and now teaching the way of tea as a lecturer in Kyoto.
