Thomas Glover is the owner of Glover Garden in Nagasaki. As a businessman, he brought many news things to Japan, such as western mechanical technology. Amongst all the new ideas, especially the steam engine changed the way we live in Japan.
This exhibition is focus on the steam engine which has influenced the industrial revolution in Japan. The Glover Garden will be constructed with original size at the venue. Also, there will introduce how the steam engine works and the achievements of Thomas Glover. Please come and find out the secret of steam
