Hakozakigu Shrine Ajisai (hydrangea) Festival “Sando Hana-meguri” (strolling the flower-lined approach) [Hakozakigu Shrine] June 1, (Fri) – June 30, (Sat)

✿Hakozakigu Shrine holds an annual Ajisai Festival!

The Ajisai-en (hydrangea garden) located in the west back in the grounds of Hakozakigu Shrine will be open to public during the festival, from Friday, June 1 to Saturday, June 30.

You can find fully bloomed 3,500 Ajisai of approximately 100 different kinds in this 1,700 tsubo (approx. 5,600 m2) garden designed to benefit from the main building of Hakozakigu Shrine. During the period, mini concerts and other events will also be held.

As the title “Sando Hana-meguri” (strolling the flower-lined approach) says, 5,000 lilies of approximately 30 different kinds are in their full glory in Shin-en flower garden together with the opening of Ajisai-en.

<Bodaiju Festival>
You can see the flower of Bodaiju (linden tree) from early to mid-June at the neighboring temple called “Ekoin”.
Starts from 11:00 a.m., Sunday, June 3 *Admission free

✿The popular local bakery “Full Full” will be selling bread and other pastries at Asisai-en.
