Appreciated Souvenirs of Fukuoka
Nokonoshima Island
This is a relaxing spot for the people of Fukuoka, accessible in just 10 minutes by ferry from the terminal in Meinohama. Sitting in the middle of Hakata Bay, this island is just 12km round.
With daffodils and plum blossoms in winder, broccolini blossoms in spring, and cosmos in fall,
various flowers bloom throughout all four seasons at the Nokonoshima Island Park.
You can see all of Fukuoka from the Nokonoshima Lookout and
learn about Nokonoshima's history and nature at the Noko Museum.
The area is also famous for the place where the writer Dan Kazuo spent his last days.
