Hakata Tsurunoko
At the end of the Meiji period, they utilized a large amount of egg white left over after the production of Keiran Somen and produced this confection with a marshmallow producing method. This sweets is very popular for its sophisticated sweetness of yellow bean jam covered with soft marshmallow. Marshmallow day (White day), now popular as a day of returning the favor of Valentine’s day gift, was originally an idea of the third owner of Ishimuramanseido. Each product of Ishimura Manseido is of excellent quality, with the original taste handed down since its foundation.
