Yabusame ritual of Iimori Shrine is a local folk ritual with a tradition of 400 years. As a Kamakura style armored soldier comes in the shrine site on a horse, the archer valiantly responds to the starter and the ritual begins. You can see a great representation of Kamakura soldier, shooting one target after another from on top of a horse. This amazing ritual is a rare chance to get close to the good old tradition and it is held on 9th of October as a part of Kunichi matsuri, to pray for fertility, victory at battles, perfect health and safety.
